Trooper. An injured Kitty frozen to the ground.
Little Trooper was found frozen to the ground, where he had spent over 18 hours, and was rescued by SCAPA volunteers in Stephenville, Newfoundland on February 11th. Trooper was provided with triage by a local vet and then transferred to a larger facility in Corner Brook, many miles, away for further assessment of his injuries, which included three pelvic fractures and probable nerve damage. Our braveTrooper in now at a large veterinary facility in PEI (Prince Edward Island),where he will be undergoing reconstructive surgery by an orthopedic vet. The SCAPA volunteers and supporters (and certainly sweet Trooper) are endlesslygrateful for the support and love for Trooper from all over the world. SCAPA is a small rescue and could never have done what we have for Trooper without your help as the costs continue to mount without any clear answer yet as to what the final cost will be. Please keep this awesome Newfoundland kitty in your thoughts and prayers! Thank you!
